Alicia Quatermain: Secrets Of The Lost Treasures Collector’s Edition (CE)
Plot: Alicia Quatermain is the granddaughter of famous world traveler Allan Quatermain. She sets out on a long and dangerous journey to find out why her father had disappeared under mysterious circumstances. But before she can figure this out, she needs to find Allan Quatermain’s lost treasure first. Alicia must visit distant lands, help her new traveling companions and avoid the enemy’s cunning traps. Villains who don’t want Alicia to uncover the truth plot to keep her from disrupting their plans to conquer the world. A true heroine’s quest, this will be the most adventurous, risky and important trip this brave girl has ever attempted. But will she be able to unravel her family’s mysterious past and find the treasure?

- Aim for the best scores to earn trophies. Based on time remaining, resources accumulated and if you’ve found the puzzle piece.

- The main tasks for each level, are listed at the top of the screen.
Game Play
The game begins with Alicia receiving a new lead. That could help her find her missing father. Taking her on a world adventure. Following the trail of her grandfather’s missing treasure.
Starting in China, her first task is to find the smuggler. As he may have info about the missing treasure. And she’ll need to bring together a team to help her on her quest.
From clearing paths, to rescuing panda cubs. You’ll need to make sure you make the most of the team to progress through each level. Accumulate resources (food, materials and gold, for example). That will be needed to start mini-tasks. With the aim of fulfilling the main tasks to be done for each level.
Some tasks can only be completed by Alicia. Such as finding treasure or pushing buttons (to open pathways and gates).
Whilst other tasks can be delegated to your workers. Such as growing food, clearing paths, maintaining buildings. And don’t forget to stack up your workers tasks. So that you make sure you maximise your workers time.
Tasks and Resources
Each tasks will have requirements to get it started. For example, clearing a road blocked by a rock pile. May require 2 lots of food and produces 1 lot of material. Hover over each item to see what is required to start the task. And what will be produced once the task is completed. Use the tally of resources accumulated, shown in the top right-corner to decide if you can start tasks. Plus get additional boosts. Including extra workers or character speed boosts.
Use your time and resource management skills, to accumulate the right items needed to complete the mini-tasks. To get the level tasks completed. And once you’ve completed each round, the next level is unlocked.

Alicia Quatermain: Secrets Of The Lost Treasures starts like an adventure story. And continues in this same tone seamlessy with the management game play.
With graphics that are bright, colorful and clear. Which is good as there’s a lot of activities to keep track of.
The game mechanics are similar to other fast-action management games. Like Roads of Rome and 12 Labours of Hercules games. See my posts included below for more details.
And as you move through the levels, it becomes more difficult to complete the main tasks. As you’re given less resources with which to achieve them. Whilst having to overcome increasing difficulties. From obstacles and enemies, trying to thwart your progress. This adds to the challenge and adventure feel of the game.
This game is a lot of fun. And is a very good mix of adventure and challenging management game play.
