It’s time for a brand-new limited event in Rooms & Exits. Birthday Rush: The Clock Is Ticking – save the party before time runs out is the long name of this fun and challenging level we only have 30 minutes to complete (and just days after unlocking it).
So, if time’s ticking away and you are stuck on this level, and nothing seems to help, including the in-game hints, I’ve got the full solution for you. I am writing below the full Birthday Rush walkthrough for Rooms & Exits, so that you can easily complete it and save the day.
There’s a lot to do, so follow my lead below – as always, the full text walkthrough with detailed instructions for Rooms & Exits Birthday Rush.
1. Tap the fridge and get the Spatula next to it. Then open the fridge and get the eggs, milk, cream, and butter. Also, get a Pan from the top of the fridge.
2. Tap the kitchen island and get the blue plate. Open the drawer to the left of the fridge and get the Scissors.
Note: Notice the arrangement of the cutlery behind the scissors. If you think in Roman numerals, you’ve got a code for yourself!
3. Tap the box on the counter in the left side of the screen and complete the puzzle to open it. You must connect the green dots in a single line, without overlapping.
If you pay attention to the lines, you will do it yourself, but if you still can’t do it, here’s a screenshot of the completed puzzle:
Get the cake ingredient from the box.
4. Tap the area with green bowls on the counter and solve the puzzle. The idea is to move all the bowls to the right and have them placed from the largest (bottom) to smallest (top).
To help you solve this puzzle easily, we’ll consider the largest bowl #1, the second largest #2, then 3 and 4. Here’s how to do it:
- Move 4 to the middle, 3 to the right, then 4 to the right
- Move 2 to the middle, 4 to the left and 3 to the middle
- Move 4 to the middle and 1 to right.
- Move 4 to the left, 3 to the right, then 4 to the middle again.
- Move 3 to the left, 4 to the left, 2 to the right.
- Move 4 to the middle, 3 to right, then 4 to the right again.
A secret compartment opens – get the green plate from there!
5. Look at the painting by the fridge and count the fruits of each type: we have 6-2-8-9.
6. Tap the red box on the chair and open it using the code above. Get the red plate.
7. Tap the top cabinet above the opened drawer and use the code from the Roman numerals (10-3-5-2). Get the flour, sprinkles and sugar.
8. Tap the oven and you’ll see there’s no power. We have to fix that by solving the puzzle on the electric box above the over. So go there and first take the Piece of paper.
9. Now let’s solve the difficult electricity box puzzle. The idea is to move all the yellow knobs in the yellow spots and the red ones in the red spots. This will take a lot of moves, the main idea behind the puzzle being that you have to work on the extremes first (top left and bottom right), and take advantage of the middle area for movement and stacking.
Start by dropping a red knob in the bottom right corner of that middle square, then bring up as much as you can all the yellow knobs. Then, take the red one you moved all the way to the bottom right.
Take advantage of the same area and move all the red ones to the bottom, then the yellow ones to the top. You now have electricity!
10. Go to the room next door and tap the TV area. Let’s solve the drawer puzzle first, as it is pretty difficult!
The point is to move the wooden tiles until the green tile can be moved all the way to the left. You can move the vertical tiles vertically only, and the horizontal ones – horizontally.
Start by working on the bottom tiles and drag the two under the green tile down. Then make enough room to drag the small horizontal one right under the green tile. Then, drag the tall one on the left up (leave one spot open and draw the large horizontal one on top of it).
Get back to working on the bottom section until you make room to draw down the large vertical tile blocking the green one. Soon after, the board empties and you can drag your green tile into the spot:
After you do it, get a small key.
11. Next, notice the card on the left and count the number of items on the screen (gifts, hats and so on) to get the code: 845.
12. Go to the other room and tap the brown briefcase on the floor. Open it using the code above:
- set the icons on top to show gifts, hats and hearts
- set the numbers below to: 845
Get the piece of paper with musical notes.
13. Go to the other room and use the small key to open the piano. If you tap the keys under each letter, you will see they show you a musical note. The idea is to press the keys in the same order as on the piece of paper.
The letters to tap are: FDACG.
14. Now that we know the correct sequence, tap the dresser on the left and open it using the letter code above. Get the yellow plate and the candle.
15. Let’s prepare the cake now! Go to the other room and tap the red pan on the stovetop (remember, you can always check the cake recipe near the food processor and the temperatures & time required for cooking on the piece of paper in your inventory).
16. In your inventory, combine the milk and scissors, then add the opened milk to the red pan. Then, add the butter and set the temperature to 200, and the time to 45. Get the final cake ingredient.
17. Go to the food processor and add all the ingredients into the bowl. Take the cake batter and combine it with the pan in your inventory.
18. Place the pan with cake batter in the oven and set it to 225 degrees and 35 minutes. Get the baked cake and place it on the wooden plate on the kitchen island. Add cream, use the spatula and it, add the sprinkles and finally the candle. Get the finished cake.
19. Go to the other room and tap the table. Add the plates and solve the puzzle with the position of the guests. To do so, look at the photos on the wall to identify them and use the clues given above the plates.
If you can’t do it, here is the correct order:
- middle bottom: gray plate with the man wearing a brown shirt
- to the left of the gray plate: red plate and the man with glasses
- above the red plate: blue plate and the long-haired blond woman
- to its right: green plate and the lady with glasses
- next to it: yellow plate and the remaining man
20. Finally, after getting the plates and order right, add the cake in the middle.
