Operation Rescue Santa Walkthrough

Operation: Rescue Santa is a timed level in Rooms & Exits, and it’s a difficult one that we only have 40 minutes to complete. Beautifully designed and truly amazing, it’s one worth playing, for sure!

And I am here to make sure you get it right: I’ll share a complete Rooms & Exits Operation Rescue Santa walkthrough. Because, if you’ve used all the hints and already replenished time more than once, but you still can’t do it, it can get frustrating. Well… no more, so let’s jump right in!

Rooms & Exits Walkthrough for Operation: Rescue Santa (Christmas Rescue)

1. Tap the small table by the chair and get a Tile.

2. Tap the gingerbread house on the large table and re-assemble it (add the door, the horn, the candy on the roof, the heart on the wall and the sign to the left of the door – on the wall to the right). Get a second Tile.

3. Go to the other room and get the Horse from the sack of gifts on the floor. Also get the handle from the platform to the right.

4. Tap the bottom of the red slide and get the Gift Box and Piece of Paper.

5. Tap the small toy carousel and add the Horse to it, then the Handle, then tap the handle. Get the next Tile.

6. Go to the room to the right and get the Firewood next to the door. Also, count how many baubles are in the Christmas tree (red, yellow and blue).

7. Go through the left door and look at the piece of paper in your inventory: it has the code: 333 333 35123 written on in.

IMPORTANT: If you have music and sound turned off in the game, you might not be able to complete the puzzle. So turn it back on for a while (in my case, it only worked with music and sound on).

Tap the bells above the door to the left and tap the numbered bells, as seen on the piece of paper. You must pace it right so it sounds like Jingle Bells. When you get this right, the painting above opens – get the Tile from there.

8. Go to the room to the left and zoom into the fireplace. Add the Firewood to the fireplace, then tap the box to the left. You need to drag the colored pieces into the similarly colored spots.

Tips: drag the blue one to the bottom right corner first, then the purple one to the top right corner. This makes it easier to get the rest.

When completed, get the button and scissors from the box.

9. Go to the room to the right and zoom into the middle window on the top floor – the one with the Wreath. Add the button on the wreath and now tap each button to represent the number of colored baubles we counted in the other room (8-5-7).

10. Exit on the balcony (just opened) and pick up the Toy bunny, matches and the new tile.

11. Go to the room to the left and use the matches to light up the firewood. Get the Tile from above the fireplace.

12. Now, tap the typewriter on the desk. Look at the open letter (from Aida Sanyy) and all the envelopes to the left. After using a few hints, I found out that the girl’s name from the open letter is an anagram of her first two names.

If you solve it, the name ends up being: Daisy Anya Parker. Write this name using the typewriter and get the Piece of Paper. Also, get a new Tile from the typewriter.

13. Go to the room to the right and tap the gift dispenser. In your inventory, combine the Scissors with the Piece of Paper to get the name tag. Then, combine the gift box with the bunny to get a gift. Place the gift on the dispenser, then add the name tag and tap the handle. Get the Letter and dismantle it in your inventory to get a new Tile.

14. Go to the room to the left and tap the gifts under the Christmas tree. Tap the green card – the numbers show you how many tiles should be filled on each row and column. Tap the numbers to match the instructions (or check out my sketch below – X marks tiles you must tap, and 0 – tiles you shouldn’t):

0 X 0 X 0
0 X X X 0
0 0 X 0 0

After completing the puzzle, get the Nonogram.

15. Go to the room with the sleigh, zoom in on its front and re-create the shape from the Nonogram (it looks like a heart). Get the final Tile.

16. Go to the left room and tap the door. Add the tiles to the mechanism and see the code: 815-213-82. Use it to open the door by pressing the symbols as follows:

  • red bauble, green gift, Christmas tree, Candy, green gift, Reindeer, red bauble, Candy

The door opens, and you can finally exit!
