The Cursed Park is the final and by far the most difficult mission in the “Escape the Nightmare” series in Rooms & Exits. But I am here to help you if nothing else does by sharing a complete, step-by-step walkthrough for this mini series’ finale.
So if you are stuck and the hints no longer help, check out the full Rooms & Exits: The Cursed Park walkthrough below to keep going. Some of the puzzles will still be up to you to complete, but it’s all easier when you know what to do. Let’s jump right in!
1. First, let’s solve the lady and the skeleton puzzle in the middle of the room: the woman is in the upper right side of the screen, while the skeleton head is to our right, next to her face.
After completing it, get the knife.
2. Open the left door and enter the new room. From the fireplace to the left, get the firewood and a trowel. Also, from the table, get the colored tiles from behind the book.
3. Let’s go back to the other room and work on some puzzles!
4. In the other room, tap the area with the large vases to the right and arrange them to match the order on the colored tiles (black, light gray, golden, dark gray, brown). Pick up the piece of paper and the spray bottle.
5. Tap the small fountain under the skull to the left and pick up the red lightbulb. Place it between the other lightbulbs – a puzzle will appear to the left, but before we play it, use the trowel on the pot to the right and pick up the Crystal.
5. Now, play the puzzle to the left. The goal of the puzzle is to fill the entire board. Here are some tips to do it:
- you will end the puzzle in the upper right corner (which is the obvious dead end)
- when starting, go up in between the two columns, then immediately right, then up and all the way to the right before moving your way down to fill up that area
- after that, simply work your way back to the left and up, making sure you keep filling all empty holes.
6. Completing this puzzle opens up a new puzzle to the right. You need to connect all gears into a working mechanism. Here are some tips:
- Start connecting gears from the bottom left, with the one connected to the top left main one becoming the middle gear below.
- Work your way from there upward and to the right, knowing that the final main gear connects to the end of the puzzle
After completing this puzzle, water starts pouring from the fountain. Now is the perfect time to fill up your empty bottle with water.
7. Now, let’s do the other puzzle that gives us a recipe (by the door) – start with the corners and work your way from there, connecting the margins first and then working on the middle.
When done, the puzzle will show you all the ingredients you need to create the potion to use on the tombstones.
8. Use your water sprayer on the dead plants to rejuvenate them. Then, use the knife to get some flowers.
9. Go to the other room and open the chest by arranging the symbols on the lock to match the ones on the large vases from the other room, then get the matches.
10. Tap the shelf with many small bottles – we need to place them on each of the three lines so that they perfectly align at the middle. Here is how to place the bottles:
- left: the one like a rock, the wider one that seems to have a heart inside, and the one that looks like an old gas lamp.
- middle: the largest bottle (with a diamond shape on it), the black one with a long neck, and the smallest one.
- right: the remaining bottles
When the puzzle is complete, get the piece of paper and flask.
11. Go to the other room to fill the vial with water, then return and tap the table and add the flowers, crystal and vial there. Also add the piece of paper to the book. Now, let’s prepare the potion!
The left side shows you the order in which you should add the ingredients, while the right page shows you what each symbol means. Here are the steps:
- First, add the rose.
- Then, add the purple flower, white one, and rose again.
- Then, add the crystal and use the teaspoon to mix the solution.
- Then, add the blue flower, white, white, white, purple, blue
- Finally, use the teaspoon again and pick up the finished item!
11. Tap the large vase, then tap again to remove its lid. Add the firewood and matches to light them up – the lid will be placed on top afterward. Add the solution you mixed on the lid, then pick the potion back up.
12. Go to the tombstones and use the mixed potion on them to remove the vines. Now, we have a set of puzzles to complete. Let’s start with the easiest one – the one that requires you again to go through all holes with your blue button (the leftmost one):
- starting at the bottom left, go to the left, then up and down by the colored holes, then all the way to the end – this one is, fortunately, pretty straightforward.
After completing it, get the rocks.
13. Let’s do the middle puzzle: you need to match all the pieces together. This is a difficult one, but here is how to arrange them to make things work:
- L-piece in the bottom left corner
- T-piece in the top left corner
- square in the middle
- “fallen down” L-piece in the top right corner
After completing the puzzle, pick up the second set of stones.
14. Let’s move to the final tombstone puzzle – it’s a sort of a Sudoku challenge, but with symbols. Here is the correct order, from top to bottom:
- bones, coffin, ghost, hat, death, skull
- death, hat, skull, bones, ghost, coffin
- skull, bones, coffin, ghost, hat, death
- ghost, death, hat, skull, coffin, bones
- coffin, ghost, bones, death, skull, hat
- hat, skull, death, coffin, bones, ghost
Get the final pile of stones.
15. Tap the ghost and add the piles of stones from your inventory. Then, the goal is to match the symbols before the time runs out. If you don’t want to completely destroy your eyes, do like I did: randomly press all symbols constantly – eventually, you will hit the ones required. Keep doing so until you defeat the ghost.
