The Silent School is the third mission of the Escape the Nightmare limited-time event in Rooms & Exits, and today I am here to help you if you got stuck while playing it.

Rooms & Exits – Escape The Nightmare Level 3: The Silent School Walkthrough
1. Get the Sponge near the blackboard.
2. Get the Glove from the bucket of water. Also, use the sponge on the bucket and pick up the Wet Sponge.
3. Go to the blackboard again and use the wet sponge to reveal the code:
- red: up, up, up, down
- purple: up, down, up, down
- yellow: down, down, up, up
- green: down, up, up, down
4. Tap the desk and set the codes on the board according to what we saw on the blackboard.
5. The computer screen lights up and shows you a messed-up puzzle that is probably one of the most difficult ones I have ever completed. The goal is to have these colors, from top to bottom: light blue, dark blue, yellow.
You control each row by tapping the buttons at the bottom, but you can also move them left/right using the arrow keys on the sides. Unfortunately, you will have to do this by yourself, as it took me over five minutes of moving and mixing to get it done and writing the instructions step by step is impossible.
The only advice I can offer is to do it like this: make one row of the same color first, without even considering the others. I started with the yellow one (or green – whatever you see there) but probably you can start with the top one also and get it done faster than otherwise.
It’s very difficult, so if you do have coins, I recommend using them.
Either way, after this terrible puzzle is complete, and you can take the key and the Memento Vivere Key.
6. Tap the locked light blue cupboard and open the doors using the key. Get the screwdriver and the Cube.
7. Use the screwdriver to unscrew the bolts on the air conditioning machine and start picking up the wires, making sure you always tap the one on top. Get the USB and Cube.
8. Use the USB in your inventory to plug in the large TV and solve the puzzle there – take the ball to the exit as the board rotates each time you put it through a hole (so keep an eye on the positions of the holes!)
When complete, notice the highlighted symbols around the skull. The first symbol is the one with a white triangle pointing at it, then the order is clockwise.
9. Tap the lock by the door and enter the symbols from the skull and enter the other room.
10. Tap the middle lamp by the windows and, using the Glove from your inventory, take the lightbulb. Place it into the lamp in the other room to see some numbers.
11. Go back to the other room and count the number of flowers on each half glass, based on the order seen under the light. Use that number to open the drawer by the red armchair (3745). Get the Cube.
12. Look at the order of the skeleton heads on the bookshelf, then tap the empty shelf on top. Place your cubes there and put them in the same order (blue, yellow, red, green). Get the Memento Mori coin.
13. Now, tap the lockpad by the door, place the coins in their spots and solve the difficult puzzle.
NOTE: This time, there’s an added challenge level: if the white bat touches any of your coins, you have to start over.
Here is the correct order to solve the puzzle:
- up, right, right, right
- down, down, down, down
- left, left, down, down, down
- left, left, up, down, right
- right, right, up, right, right
- down, right, right, right, right
The door opens and you can now exit.
