Eventide 2: Sorcerer’s Mirror Review
Sorcerer’s Mirror has an interesting storyline. Plenty of fun game play. And is a nice change from the dark sinister tones of other current HOPA games releases! Along with the usual hidden object puzzles and mini-games. You have collectibles to find and achievements to earn – even though this is a standard edition of the game. This is better than the first Eventide game (which I’d found a little too easy).
In comparison, this sequel has improved on the engagement factor. And the use of a story-driven mechanic, where your decisions affect the gameplay is done well. There’s still the cartoon style, that some might not like. But there’s more game play for your money. Though this game may lack in challenge. Eventide 2 has enough enjoyable game play. And a unique story that compels you through this cute fantasy adventure. And this is definitely worth checking out the free demo.
