Cyberpunk 2077 is that type of a game you can’t stop playing. It sold over 8 million copies before the game was even out, and the plot of the game has been keeping players glued to their screens, myself included.
There are countless legendary items out there just waiting for you to claim them.
And this article is just about that! We’re going to explore some free legendary items in Cyberpunk 2077, that will not only make your life easier, but also more stylish. Let’s get to it!
1. Corporate blazer with bulletproof lining
Ever wanted a stylish outfit that protects you from incoming bullets? Well, I’ve got you covered!
All you need to do is head over to the northern part of the Watson district – the exact spot is marked on the image below – and when you spot the “Barely Illegal” neon sign, hop over the fence and you’ll see two dead bodies on the ground.
Feel free to loot the entire place, as it’s abandoned and you’ll find no enemies. However, you really just want to loot the body closest to the burned vehicle.
You’ll find the awesome bulletproof blazer, which will grant you the following stats:
- 82,2 armor
- 5 block damage reduction
- 5% Stamina consumption reduction when blocking melee attacks
- Increase in armor by 35.329

2. Monowire
The Legendary Monowire is a unique cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s literally a wire, but it can be used as a whip against your opponents, dealing a lot of physical damage. Most of the time it ends up maiming the target.
To find it, you’ll need to head over to the Watson District and find the Pharmaceuticals store.
Once you do, turn left and when you see the “Stephenson technologies”, head inside that garage.
Inside, you’ll find a box with the Monowire. Then all you need to do is head to a Ripperdoc to get it working.
The monowire grants the following stats:
- 270-330 damage to target
- 113-135 physical damage
- 2.94 attack speed
- 20% chance of bleeding
3. Shingen Mark V SMA T SMG
When you are outnumbered and risk losing a fight, this legendary weapon is an absolute lifesaver.
It’s an SMG that fires at up to 3 targets and the bullet will always track and find an enemy, even if they are behind cover.
The SMG’s stats are as follow:
- 278,4 dps
- 25-31 damage
- 4.55 attacks per second
- 19,22 thermal damage
- 15,82 crit change
- 38,62% crit damage
- 10% burn chance
- 1.35 headshot damage multiplier.
Finding this weapon is incredibly easy, though there are some obstacles in the way.
All you need to do is head over to the Santo Domingo district and find the Arasaka building. You won’t have to go inside, you’ll just need to head over to the parking spot.
Once you’re inside the compound, you just need to head all the way down to the other side of the parking lot and look to the right. You’ll find a black container with the door open. Inside you’ll find the SMG.
Keep in mind it’s guarded by security cameras, so you ought to find them and disable them before going inside.
If you have the “Big Sleep” perk, I suggest you use it to disable all cameras at once. If not, ping one camera to find out the location of all other cameras, and disable them as you go along.
Last but not least, once you’re in the container, be sure to disarm the mine, otherwise you’ll get an explosive experience.
4. Legendary Mantis Blade
Guys… this is the absolute most epic item you can find in Cyberpunk 2077. The Mantis Blades are a cyberware that simply turns you into a living weapon.
This cyberware allows the player to slice and dice enemies so easily it just feels wrong.
- 191-234 damage
- 103-126 physical damage
- 2.33 attack speed
- 20% bleeding chance
This legendary Cyberpunk 2077 item can be found close to the Night City Center for Behavioral Health.
Once you spot the Behavioral center, just head down the path to the left of the building into yellow doors. I advise you crouch for this part, as there is a tough Cyberpsycho inside.
Crouch and stick close to the right wall of the hallway until you come across a case next to a dead body. Inside you’ll find the Mantis Blades. Then just head over to your favorite Ripperdoc and install them.
5. Duolayer Polyamide Rocker Vest
Head over to Kabuki in Watson District. You’ll find a staircase next to the Tengus shop. On your back should be the Amber Fox building.
To get the Rocker vest, you’ll need to climb the right side of the staircase and then another staircase and run down the hall until you come across a dead body wearing that legendary item.
The duolayer vest will grant the player:
- 81,1 Armor
- 30% crit damage
- 0,5 evasion increase
6. Gold-tipped Manganese Steel Solo Boots
Watson district is full of legendary items and one of them is the Steel Solo Boots. They can be found in Kabuki, in a market area.
Head towards the Ripperdoc, but instead of going in, walk to the left until you find an elevator. Step inside and head to the third floor.
On the third floor, you’ll find a stall on the left and right next to it is a case with the boots.
The boots grant the player:
- 45 armor
- Increased armor rating by 19,507
