Plot: The family saga continues when your nephew Brandon encounters the mysterious Stone Queen in a lonely mountain town. She used to protect the miners here, but now she’s out for revenge! You must discover the truth behind the queen’s anger and save both worlds before a greedy heart brings about their destruction. You’ll meet new friends, but you’ll also face new foes in Grim Tales: The Stone Queen.

Grim Tales 4 CE – Pros
Though this 4th episode of the Grim Tales game, involves rescuing Brandon. Who’s back story you’ll know if you’ve played episodes 2 and 3. This installment then goes off into its own separate storyline. So if you haven’t played the previous games you can still follow the plot.
Your main objectives are to solve the mystery behind the Stone Queen’s recent vengeful rampage. And to save Brandon from another sticky situation! However, The Stone Queen is not going to make things easy for you. As she creates many supernatural and magical obstacles for you to overcome. That will test your puzzle-solving skills.
The storyline is interesting and engaging. And the scenes have been beautifully and clearly illustrated. The music and sound effects do well to add to the suspense of the adventure.
Grim Tales 4 CE – Things to Note
As with the previous games, this is more of a puzzle game. With fewer hidden object scenes, than usual HO games.
This makes the game play more interesting as the puzzles varying a lot in challenge and type.
The useful interactive map is great a help for keeping track of what needs to be done and where. And if you play in Advanced or Hardcore modes. You’ll find the game even more challenging.
Grim Tales 4 CE – Cons
This Grim Tales game doesn’t have the usual extras. For example there are no morphing items to collect. And no achievements to aim for. However there’s plenty in this game, that makes up for this omission.
Grim Tales 4 CE – Overall
Another excellent Grim Tales game. With top quality artwork, challenging game play, intriguing storyline and a good length.
