There’s a brand new (and pretty amazing) skill in Survivor.io: the Modular Mine. And I am here to share with you a complete guide to this new Skill that is pretty unique in the game.
What makes Modular Mine such a unique in-game skill is the fact that it can have two different Evo skills: The Thunderbolt Bomb and The Inferno bomb. But let’s take everything one step at a time!
Modular Mine in Survivor.io – everything you need to know
As you play the game, you unlock new skills that make you stronger. Modular Mine has been introduced by the latest update to Survivor.io.
When you get this skill, your hero will deploy mines on the battlefield that explode and cause damage when enemies are near them. You can imagine that this is pretty amazing stuff!
Even at level 1, the Modular Mine is good as you place one mine that explodes when triggered. But the more you level up this skill, the better it goes:
- Modular Mine Level 2: spawn two mines
- Modular Mine Level 3: double damage from explosions
- Modular Mine Level 4: bigger area of explosion
- Modular Mine Level 5: a third mine is spawned
The only real problem with this skill is that no passive skills will have any influence on it.
This is pretty powerful stuff already – but that’s not all! The Modular Mine can also evolve, like all skills in the game. But unlike others, it can go two different ways: The Thunderbolt Bomb and The Inferno bomb.
Survivor.io Modular Mine evo 1: Thunderbolt Bomb
The Thunderbolt Bomb is an is an upgraded version of the mine. It causes more damage and also hits nearby enemies with electrical shock.
In order to evolve your Modular Mine to Thunderbolt Bomb, you need to have your skill at level 5 and combine it with a 5-star lightning emitter.
Once they are combined, the Lightning Emitter and the Modular Mine will disappear, leaving open a new slot for another skill.
Survivor.io Modular Mine evo 2: Inferno Bomb
The Inferno Bomb is a different evolution of the mine. This is basically a massive bomb that, once exploded, leaves behind a huge fire causing lasting damage. It can also remove puddles of lasting damage left by other players (if any).
To create the Inferno Bomb, you will need a level 5 Modular Mine and a 5-star Molotov. Just like with the previous evolution, you will get an additional skill slot after combining the two.
Wrapping up
In my opinion, the Survivor.io Modular Mine itself is extremely powerful – but if you manage to get any of the evolutions, you will cause some real trouble on the battlefiled.
Out of the two Evos, I personally enjoy the Inferno Bomb and I consider it better than the Thunderbolt Bomb. But, as I said, they are both amazing.
