It’s time for the boss battle in Tiny Robots: Portal Escape Chapter 3! T-Rex Terror is the name of this level – and it’s a tough one!
But worry not! If you get stuck and can’t figure out what to do next, I am here to help you with the full walkthrough to this level – from how to craft the artifact to step by step instructions for completing all puzzles.
Before reading my walkthrough, I recommend trying everything possible to complete it yourself – especially using the in-game hints. The satisfaction is greater if you can find the solution alone.

1. First, if you haven’t crafted the artifact yet, you will have to do so. Drag the bottom left item into place, followed by the skull in the opening on the leaf. Open the hatchet on top and place the battery inside.
Turn it around and place the plug at the back. Place the handle on one side and the red container on the other. Finally, drag the metal leaf on top of the skull and your backpack is complete!
2. Start the level and tap the back of the T-Rex to get to the minigame. Launch it – it’s a difficult one!
Here is how to swipe over the screen to complete it:
- right, down, right, up
- left, left, up, right
- down, down, right, up
- up and down
3. Get the brush from the dinosaur’s back.
4. Tap the hat to the right and get the first battery. Zoom into the rock near the pile of dirt (to the left, with red bits on it) and use the brush on top of it – note that the lines create a 6.
5. Get the large wheel on the side of the volcano. Go to the back of the volcano and take the second battery on the plant. Remove the rocks near the plant and get the gem. Look under the larger plant to the right, near the boulder and get the third battery.
6. Place the wheel on top of the volcano. Zoom into the opening at the base and get the Crown.
7. Zoom into the deactivated robot and place the backpack on its back. Get the flamethrower.
8. Zoom into the large rock in front and re-create the six sign we saw after dusting off the other rock earlier. Simply tap the small stones in the order indicated below to create the sign:
9. Zoom into the new contraption. Move the large piece to the left, and the one with a mouth to the right. Move the orange one to the right and drag the one from the left to the middle.
Then drag the other two pieces on top of the middle one, and round the shape up with the crown in your inventory.
10. Place the gem into the newly opened socket and see the dinosaur being blasted away by a meteor. Grab the orb and activate it, then jump into the portal.
