This Mystery Case Files game series list details all of the games in this popular hidden object detective adventure series, including the order of the Ravenhearst games.

This is probably one of the longest running and most popular HOPA series ever and I am sure that, as a fan of the series, you want to play them all in order – or at least make sure that you don’t miss any.

Available for PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android and Amazon Fire. Plus spin-off games for Nintendo DS and Wii, the MCF and Ravenhearst games are a joy for all ages. Let’s check out the chronological order below.

    2. Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects

    Thousands of clues are cleverly hidden within the beautiful illustrations. Creating a new game experience each time you step into this masterpiece of visual indulgences!

    It might seem a bit outdated for modern gamers, but it’s an amazing trip back down memory lane for those who played it when it was first released.

    3. Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst

    Description: Rumors surrounding the history of stately Ravenhearst Manor have circulated for decades.

    The recently acquired diary of Emma Ravenhearst may hold the key to unraveling the tale behind this unsettling place, yet the pages are missing.

    Players assume the role of Master Detective to unlock secrets held within Ravenhearst, scouring a myriad of enchanting rooms in the manor for cleverly hidden clues.

    Locating and assembling diary pages helps tell the story of the house. And, ultimately, unlock the mystery.

    This is again a legendary game, one that gave birth to the Ravenhearst series which also goes strong today. And all the Ravenhearst games are listed below.

    4. Mystery Case Files: Madame Fate

    Considered a fairytale, it’s telling was meant to frighten small children into staying in their beds through the night. A recently unearthed artifact in the United Kingdom, however, proves the dark legend to be true!

    Use your wits and Hidden Object talents to follow the trail of a group of missing graduate students in Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove! This is probably the least popular of all the MCF games, but still worth playing by diehard fands.

    7. Mystery Case Files: 13th Skull

    Sara’s daughter, Magnolia, believes her father was kidnapped by the ghost of a vengeful pirate seeking to protect his lost fortune. With the locals terrified of the pirate’s curse, you are the family’s last hope.

    8. Mystery Case Files: Escape From Ravenhearst

    Description: You lived through their side of the story – now live through his!

    Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor. Uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story – if you escape.

    Escape from Ravenhearst is probably the most popular game in the series and by far one of the best made hidden object puzzle adventures ever, in my opinion.

    9. Mystery Case Files: Shadow Lake

    Description: Uncover the evil legend that haunts a forgotten town in this 9th game in the series!

    In 1973, something wicked took over the town of Bitterford, Maine, after an unsuspecting inmate unearthed a mysterious object from beneath the prison floor.

    Years later, Bitterford lies in ruin. You must join forces with psychic Cassandra Williams, played by award-winning actress Lea Thompson, to investigate the events that led to the town’s destruction.

    This wasn’t one of the most popular in the series, and there are few places where it can be found. However, you can still get it from Big Fish Games.

    10. Mystery Case Files: Fate’s Carnival

    Description: Madame Fate returns… from the dead! This is Fate’s Carnival as you’ve never seen it before, with old acts like Amazing Larry and Marlena Mermaid in the most harrowing predicaments!

    Can you stop fate before it’s too late? Or will the creepy carnival curse stop you?

    Despite its interesting premise, this is yet another mediocre release in the series. Fortunately, things got turned around and things got better with future releases.

    11. Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove, Sacred Grove

    Follow the dark clues down a twisting and twisted path into Ravenhearst’s horrific past. The future just might depend on it!

    Key to Ravenhearst (and switching over game development to Eipix) marked a triumphant return of the game to the top charts back in 2015 and I still remember fondly how much I enjoyed playing it.

    After two consecutive years of Ravenhearst mysteries, the series got back to other mysteries, and it was a welcomed change, although the game didn’t score stellar reviews.

    15. Mystery Case Files: The Black Veil

    2. You’re missing several newer games. MCF: The Last Resort, MCF The Dalimar Legacy, and MCF Moths to a Flame. Just FYI, I consulted your list to find out which order these last three were released, but they aren’t on here. LOL
