How to Play Angry Birds

The birds have had their eggs stolen by the nasty little pigs, and this is why the birds are angry! And so they are fighting back by launching themselves in a giant slingshot (which is operated by dragging your finger on the screen then letting go!) at the pigs to get their eggs back! There are a range of different birds each with their own character, color and special ability (from exploding to splitting into three), initially you have the red birds to play with, but as you move through the levels you will get other bird types as well.

Angry Birds Strategy

Similarly there are different types of pigs with different strengths, for example some have amour making them harder to destroy. Also as you go through the levels you will find the pigs sheltering in a variety of structures made of wood, ice and stone. The variety of the structure and the pig you are aiming for will require a strategic use of the right kind of bird to attack with to successfully destroy the enemy.

Angry Birds Review

At the start of each level you have a set amount of birds and bird types. The main aim is to crush all the pigs in the level without running out of birds. The less of your supplies you use the better you score, similarly the more havoc you wreak the better your star rating!

This game is huge fun, with its funny, cute comic-style characters. Especially the combos of birds, pigs and structures and the technique for launching the birds in the slingshot makes this a great game of physics, logic and strategy! Plus the challenge of getting maximum star ratings on all of the 210 levels gives this game excellent replay-ability value.
