Adventure Escape: Framed for Murder – Review
This is another top crime-solving puzzle game from Haiku. And also another completely free game to play! There are optional in-app purchases – if you want to buy more stars, for revealing hints or to skip puzzles. But as mentioned above there are also other ways to get more stars.
This latest installment in Haiku’s Adventure Escape game series. (See below for my post detailing the full series list so far). Follows in the same format, game play and style as the previous games. With Kate Gray back again to solve another tricky murder case. As Kate, it’s up to clear you friend and mentor, Sylvia’s name and solve this murder case.
The puzzles are well-thought out and varied enough – in style and difficulty. So that you are never bored. And they have enough in them to test your puzzle-solving skills, without being impossibly difficult!
Top Puzzle-Solving
Haiku have also done well with providing plenty of variety throughout the game. With puzzles that range from straight-forward logic puzzles and brain-teasers. To more technical CSI game play. Such as analysing collected blood samples – where you must arrange filters correctly, in order to test for a match. Or arranging DNA pairs in the right order so that you can complete a sequence.
The only downside I found is that there is a fair bit of dialogue to read. Which you need to wade through whenever there’s new details to be learned in the unfolding story. Or when you are interviewing suspects.
But the quality, challenge and amount of puzzles in this free game make up for this slight delay in getting on with playing the game. All in all, this is a very good crime-solving mobile game.
