Phantasmat 8 CE Review

Mournful Loch is, as the title would suggest, a dark, creepy atmospheric game. In-keeping with the overarching horror theme of the Phantasmat series. (See my post: Phantasmat Games List. For all the game titles in the series so far. For computer and mobile, in order of release.)

Immersing you in its sombre tone using excellent visuals, a tense soundtrack and a dark family story.

The game play, is also engaging and well thought-out. With a good range of hidden object games. And imaginative, challenging puzzles and mini-games.

Overall, a very good horror hidden object adventure. More like the earlier Phantasmat games, in tone. The graphics, music and game play all work well together. Keeping up the momentum, created by the tragedy in the opening scene. Right through to the end of this spooky adventure.
